Simon is an award-winning master hair stylist with a career spanning four decades. He is recognised for his expertise, creative flair and commitment to exceptional service. With a loyal clientele, he combines technical skill and artistic vision to deliver bespoke hairstyles tailored to each client’s look and lifestyle.
Driven by a relentless passion to push the boundaries of traditional hairdressing, Simon believes that being a great hairdresser goes beyond pure technical skill, it involves an in-depth consultation, designed to fully understand a client’s individual personality, lifestyle, and the look they want to achieve. Whether it’s crafting a chic bob that oozes timeless elegance, executing a flawless pixie cut, or designing a bridal updo that wows; Simon brings a fresh perspective to each and every client, making sure they’re delighted with the end result and walk out of the salon with hair that simply looks amazing.
Simon learnt his craft from working with great hair legends such as Daniel Galvin, Nicky Clark and Toni and Guy. He opened a salon in Leicester’s Allandale Road and a second one in Oakham, before establishing the Simon Cawthorne brand in 2010. Now, after many years leading and building an expert team of stylists and colour technicians, he’s decided to go freelance working both from a salon and in clients’ homes, freeing up time to focus on what he loves best – delivering personalised, precision-cut styling, wrapped up in a unique client-centric service.
